Claudia Jackson is a compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in nursing and psychiatric care. She began her professional journey with a degree in Communications, later transitioning into nursing—a path that inspired her to pursue a master’s in nursing education, where she educated and mentored future nursing professionals.
Her passion for mental health and recognition of the critical gaps in accessible care led her to further her education with a Post-Master’s Degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health. In addition to providing direct care, Claudia has a strong background as a case manager, helping patients navigate the complexities of mental health services and connecting them to vital community resources to support their mental wellness.
Claudia is deeply committed to providing evidence-based support to individuals across the lifespan, with an emphasis on holistic, patient-centered care. A calm, grounded presence in high-stress environments, she draws on her background as a trauma nurse—an experience that shaped her ability to remain steady, focused, and supportive even in the most intense situations. That same calm, empathetic approach now guides her psychiatric practice, helping to foster trust and empower patients on their journey toward mental wellness.
Claudia stays actively involved in the professional nursing community and is a proud member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing – Nu Epsilon Chapter.
