Dr. Rashid Ahmed Sheikh is an experienced Internal Medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience in hospital medicine, primary care, and inpatient management. A graduate of Liaquat Medical College, Dr. Sheikh completed combined residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Texas Tech University and later pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Rheumatology at University of Tennessee.
Dr. Sheikh has served in numerous leading healthcare institutions across North Carolina, including Johnston Medical Center, Vidant Health, WakeMed Hospital, and Family Medicine and Rehabilitation Center (FMRC). He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has extensive expertise in hospital medicine, chronic disease management, inpatient care, preventive medicine, and adult primary care.
He is known for providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a strong focus on evidence-based medicine and long-term wellness.
